Itinerary

Day 1: To the South
Today you’ll leave San José for the 3 hour drive on the Pan-American highway to San Isidro del General, located on the Southern part  of Costa Rica; after a short stop to stretch legs we will continue down to the Pacific coast. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may spend the rest of the afternoon walking around Dominical town and getting to know the local services or simply relaxing at your hotel facilities. (B)

Day 2: Getting to Know Dominical
Playa Punta Uvita and Dominical are ideal destinations to discover the beautiful South Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Dominical is a village on the seafront and offers a wide range of recreational activities to its visitors. Alternatively, Uvita is the main gateway to explore the Marino Ballena National Park, a coral reef sanctuary and a key point to observe humpback whales (during July to October). This reserve was created in February 1990 to protect the shoreline of Bahía de Coronado (including Punta Uvita), several beaches, plus 4,500 hectares of ocean surrounding Isla Ballena. (B)

Day 3: Seeking For Marine Life 
Today we can book a snorkeling tour to Marino Ballena National Park. Underneath the crystal clear waters, you’ll be able to witness the great biodiversity of the region and observe all kinds of marine wildlife. Afterwards, you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, sunbathing, swimming or taking part in optional tours such as horseback riding, natural history walks, canopy tours, etc (all at additional cost). Day 4: Relax
Day at leisure to enjoy the facilities and relax. Overnight at the Lodge of your choice. (B)

Day 5: Return to San José
During the day, transportation will be provided back to San José… or connect with our shuttle for another Tropical destination. (B)
